VPN Tunnel Help

 

The VPN Tunnel client is a software application for Windows and Mac platforms that enables remote users to securely connect to the remote network. With the VPN Tunnel client, remote users can virtually join the remote network: users can mount network drives, upload and download files, and access resources in the same manner as if they were a part of the local network.

VPN Tunnel Requirements

To install the VPN Tunnel client, your system meet the following requirements:

 

 

Web Browser Security Settings

 

To confirm web browser security settings.

 

  1. Select Internet Options from the web browser Tools menu.

  2. Select the Security tab in the Internet Options dialog window.

  3. Click Custom Level to view security settings for the Internet security zone.

  4. Scroll through the security settings and confirm that the following content is not disabled:

If the web browser security settings do not permit ActiveX and ActiveX with scripting, then add the SSL VPN portal web address to the browser's list of Trusted Sites.

 

  1. Go to the SSL VPN portal login page.

  2. Press ALT+D to select the SSL VPN portal address, and press CTRL+C to copy it to the Windows Clipboard.

  3. On the Internet Explorer Tools menu, click Internet Options.

  4. Click the Security tab, then click Trusted Sites.

  5. Click the Sites button.

  6. In the Add this Web site to the zone box, press CTRL+V to paste in the Web address.

  7. Click the Add button.

  8. Click OK twice.
